The ever popular Eastern White Flowering Dogwood. Beautiful display of white bracts appear in midspring before leaves emerge. The "cloud" effect of the white bracts against the bare branches is hard to match in pure beauty. Leaves emerge green, turning to scarlet red in fall. Habit is upright and very broad, usually wider than tall to 25-30 feet with age. Full sun for best floral display. The disease Anthracnose can be a problem in wet climates.
