Popular conifer for modern landscapes. Fast growing and tough, this species will survive the cold winters of Boston, Massachussetts, and the hot, humid summers of Oklahoma. Beautiful pyramidal habit with all secondary branchlets hanging straight down. Foliage is a nice dark green and held in large flat sprays that weep gracefully. Useful as windbreaks, large screens, or as a evergreen specimen.

If a fuller look is desired, prune out the main leader and shear the tips in spring.
