Magnolia sieboldii 'Colossus'

Colossus Oyama Magnolia

A tetraploid seedling of M. sieboldii that produces large, pure white, highly fragrant blooms in late spring thru till fall. Habit is bushy and broad, needing a shady spot in the woodland garden to look it's best. The white buds dangle downward from the branches looking like large eggs. They open up to expose a ring of rich pink among the pure white petals. For semi-shady locations with moist soils.
