A chance seedling from Purpurea Pendula. Same deep purple color and weeping foliage but leader continues to grow upward resulting in a dramatic specimen. Trees are narrow with youth beoming broader with age. All branches and foliages cascades downward. Fairly fast grower, will become a large tree with time.
