Acer palmatum dissectum 'Tamukeyama'

Tamukeyama Laceleaf Maple

Darkest purple color of any dissectum that we grow. Foliage starts out bright red and slowly age to deep purple almost black. Color holds well all season long. The foliage is not as finely dissected as other forms but the deep color makes up for it. New stems are a powdery sliver color which contrasts well with the dark foliage. This cultivar is quite vigorous for a dissectum growing twice as wide as tall eventually making a large specimen.
